KEY WEST, FLA NEWS — Key West and The Florida Keys will reopen on June 1st for tourists. The Florida Keys were closed to tourists to minimize the coronavirus spreading.  Airport screenings will be lifted June 1st, so travelers can start to come back to their favorite vacation spot and Party in Key West. 

Hotels and all other accommodations will be allowed to reopen at 50% occupancy. The restaurants, bars and other businesses will be following cleaning guidelines for COVID-19 with sanitation stations as well as following the American Hotel Lodging Association’s cleaning guidelines for COVID-19.

The Florida Keys had only 100 positive cases of the coronavirus and three deaths. All businesses will be practicing sanitation measures to keep all of their guests protected.
