Underwater and outdoor enthusiasts, eco-travelers and families are encouraged to celebrate the marine environment at Mote Marine Laboratory’s annual event. Proceeds and donations from the festival support Mote’s coral reef restoration and research programs. The family-friendly fun will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary’s Eco-Discovery Center and Truman Waterfront, 35 E Quay Road.

No matter the change in personnel within the band, The Temptations have remained true to The Tempta-tions tradition. The Temps began their musical life in Detroit in the early sixties. It wasn’t until 1964 however, that the Smokey Robinson written-and-produced “The Way You Do the Things You Do” turned the guys into stars. Make your way to Sunset Green Event Lawn situated between 24 North and The Gates ho-tel’s on North Roosevelt Blvd. to catch one of the country’s most legendary bands to come out of the hopping Motown era.
