47 Wounded Soldiers To Participate; Some Recently Released From The Hospital
On Friday and Saturday January 11th and 12th, the Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride will take place in the Middle and Upper Florida Keys. The Florida Keys will have more than 200 patriotic banners and yellow ribbons placed up and down the Keys to celebrate the 47 participating wounded soldiers. Veterans were outfitted with cycling equipment to ride as one on Thursday in Miami Beach, where the ride began.
On Friday and Saturday, they will be in the Marathon to Key Largo. Although the traffic may be slowed at this times, it’s important to acknowledge our wounded soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the security and safety we all have because of them.
